Default Toll Brothers, Princeton Jct

We are considering a move to Princeton Jct and wondered if anyone had any opinions about the Toll Brothers community there. I notice it is quite close to the train station. Specifically, will noise be an issue? DH will be commuting to Manhattan so any advice about best routes/times will be appreciated.

By way of background, we have 2 young kids so excellent public schools are the top priority.

They are having trouble selling homes so you could probably get a better deal then in the past.

Belly is correct. I just wrapped up a Toll project outside of Philadelphia and some of their marketing and sales people said Toll is throwing huge upgrades and such to move the homes in the NJ and PA market. With that being said, you can, without a doubt, upgrade everything for no cost. Their construction quality is good, not great, but good.

We looked there and found the lots to be ridiculously small for the size the homes are.

Apparently. That development is insane--3500 sq. ft. homes on 8000 sq.ft. lots.

Totally. What you got for 850-900K was less than we'll be getting in Marlboro for 750K.

after I saw this original post, I went to the toll bros site to look at the models - 2000 sq ft for high 600's (BEFORE UPGRADES) - crazy! i don't think it's worth it, IMHO, of course.

Seriously? That is even more insane than the section where we were looking in where they were bigger and started around 800 before upgrades.
