Default Rossmoor Info

We have looked at most of the South Jersey 55+ communities and many in Delaware, even a few in PA. We need to move back to NJ to deal with elder and sibling-care issues and, hopefully, to be closer to our daughter who seems to have settled permanently in Princeton. I know Rossmoor is an older community, but it has only recently come to our attention. I would appreciate input from those who know it or live there.

I can see the prices, monthly fee, and taxes from the various sales websites, but I am concerned with utilities. We've looked at a lot of communities in South Jersey where no one will share utility cost with us. That scares us. We're coming from a 1700 square foot all-electric home in Maryland where we pay $165 a month for electricity. At the end of the year, we rarely owe the company any money and they rarely owe us any. So, the $165 a month is pretty accurate.

I'll stop here and ask more questions as things come up. Thanks.

Frank

Leisuretowne in Southampton (Burlington County) is nice. Very reasonable and taxes are low, tons to do.
