Basking Ridge, Bridgewater or Where?
My Relocation company realtor is suggesting apartments in these towns as I will be working near Warren. Any thoughts on these or any suggestions on other areas to consider?

Warren, Basking Ridge and Bridgewater are beautiful, upscale areas in the Watchung Mountaions - there is no better place to live in the area.

Both convenient and nice. If you are young single professional you might also want to look at Bedminster, the Hills is a huge development, lots of younger singles.

Thanks to all for your input. I am moving for work from Virginia and my wife will be maintaining our home there. She wants to know I will be in an area she can be comfortable with. Any suggestions on best way to get to LaGuardia or JFK from there if I want cheaper connections back home?

thank you very much. I see you are in Nashville. My son is at The University of the South in Sewanee. I can't wait to get back to visit him at the most beautiful place on earth.

Well the singles in Hills won't attack you, plenty of couples too :-). I mentiond it not for dating but for the social aspect, they have lots of clubs and groups up there- sports etc. Family neighbourhoods can be pretty lonely when all the social life revolves around kids.
Both LaGuardia and JFK are a pain to get to. Not sure about LaGuardia, but JFK route would take you down 287 -440 over Staten Island and and the Verrazano, Belt Parkway (Brooklyn), Van Wyck etc, etc. It is a long and nasty drive that might not mitigate price savings. You could try a car service which would be less hassle for you and there are Newark Airport Shuttles so ask around local hotels and see if there are New York airport shuttles too (they will know about that best). It may be you could park your car at a local hotel and get a ride that way and it would be cheaper.

Yes, I am and its really beautiful here. I was told to take a ride to Sewanee by a local from my nail salon here. She knows I like to tour around, and she said I would love the follage there. Here, I love driving up the Natchez Parkway, its a site to behold. You only have to drive a few miles to hit a country road here.

I always found Philly Airport to have the least expensive flights out here, not sure if its true to where you have to go. I lived in Central NJ and 90% of the flights I took were out of Philly.
