I don't think there is a waitlist for Millburn residents. I think that you are guaranteed a spot but it valet parking. I'm not 100% sure but that is what I heard.
Does anyone know whether there is a waiting list for residents to get Parking Permit at the Millburn station parking lots ?
We checked about 3 years ago and were told that there is smth like 5 year waiting list. There are some spaces available on first come first served basis, but you really need to be early. Plus if you come and there is none left, well need to park somewhere else.
This was 3 years ago - I am not sure what is going on there now.
Are you sure, you are talking about Millburn ? Millburn didn't used to have a waiting list but quite recently I have been hearing of a few months of waiting list. This is not confirmed though so I was hoping someone who applied recently would respond..
It's easy enough to find out. Call the number provided on the NJTransit website in the parking information area and ask. It's usually the municipal clerk.

I am not sure. This was 3 years ago when we moved to the area and went to check what was going on with the parking. This could simply change.
THere's never been a waiting list - whoever posted that is incorrect. If you get to Short Hills station on the late side, you won't be able to park. Go to Millburn and they will valet the car. Building more parking soon I believe.
Am just moving into Millburn. I need to know where to shop for daily groceries like milk, bread, fish etc, on a regular basis. Dont want posh and fancy places which are overpriced, but good quality at affordable prices.
