Default Parsippany to Midtown NY

What's the best way of commuting to midtown from Parsippany? I hear there is a bus that goes to NY? Does anyone take this bus? Is there adequate parking in the morning? Is the bus crowded and generally on time? Any comments would be much appreciated. Thanks.

The bus is the way to go. It leaves from various places along route 46 but the big parking lot is on 46 and Beverwyck road. It takes about an hour and is mostly on-time. Some people also drive to the Willowbrook Mall in Wayne and take the bus from there. The fare is cheaper, the ride shorter and it has more parking but it takes 10-15 minutes to get there from Parsippany, so it all evens out. There is also a midtown direct train that you can catch from Denville or Morris Plains that takes about an hour also.
