Yes, the house was bought because I was willing to negociate after an agreed upon price. My husband wanted to make sure that the job would be here and we would not be stuck in NY. For 2 weeks I owned 2 houses because I had to close here first. Luckly I did have the cash to do that, but a young person just starting out would not. I know people want to live there.
This realtor was talking about Millstone Township, which is located near Manalapan. She is a friend from Church there and that is her main territory.
I know 4 houses in my development sold after mine, but for less than I received, one I know was $450k, the others I don't know but was told one was even less than that. They also were able to sell pre reaccessment.

Yeah, you're pretty close to reality there-except on the shopping cart thing

No, I didn't notice he had the side windows extra. It was 20 front, 9 back, rest on side. He said he moved here for a Quality life for his children. Franklin, where he moved has an excellent school system and his taxes are only $2k.

I notice Brian's late post was deleted here and also the one he posted on the TN board, which was ignored there. That board usually doesn't have problems except for an occassional post from someone in LA.

Who cares...except perhaps yourself
We usually don't have problems here..unless someone from another forum trolls over here to do some NJ bashing

So in other words, as a seller, you started out at much too high a price given the current market, and had to go down. Isn't that how it usually happens?
Welcome to the real world, Diane.

That's because we don't feel the need to go swarming other states' boards with erroneous information, strange and inconsistent complaints, and continuous flaming.
Lacking those things, I'm sure the TN board IS calmer.
