Can someone please tell me if NJ Transit has a train from or near Fair Lawn to Penn Station - NYC? I can't make heads or tails on their web site. It keeps giving me a bus schedule and I don't want the bus. I can drive to a nearby town but don't know which to go to. Thx!

No. The train from Fair Lawn goes to Hoboken, so to get to Penn you transfer at Sensuous. Not sure what site you're on, but the NJ Transit website clearly has choices to see train information. You want the Bergen County/Main line schedule.

Sorry but not that clear or I wouldn't have asked. I'm on http://www.njtransit.com/pdf/rail/R0020.pdf and see on the graphic, Fair Lawn to Secaucus. Then I went to New Jersey Transit and Fair Lawn is not an option as departure. If someone can post a link to the schedule I'm not seeing would help.

I think the two train stations in fair lawn are Radburn and Broadway on the bergen county line. If you go to train schedules and select the rail map, the illustration of the bergen county line identifies them as Broadway-fair lawn and Radburn-fair lawn

That's a hilarious name for a train station. Every time I make the transfer there I'll remember that.
