Can someone tell me what's a safe-to-access bus stop here (the 114/117 bus) - I got off near Springfield Rd and it was very busy. How do commuters get from the bus to their cars when there's a median on a busy road, where do they park? Should I choose a busstop further on the westbound route?
Springfield rd, or south springfield, neither of which are in westfield (I do not think westfield actually touches 22 except for a small stretch west of lawrence). Either way, it is not going to be easy to park or cross. I think the area right around lawrence&22 is mountainside and 2 hour parking, but just 1/2 block away is westfield and I am not so sure on the parking limit there. There is a light at lawrence and it might be the easiest place to cross. Not sure if there is parking there or not, but right after the bus leaves 22 in south plainfield there is a stop. More of a residential area, so a bit safer for pedestrians
