Our offer was recently accepted and so it looks like we will moving to Nutley soon. Given that we're first time buyers, I am having second thoughts and want to clear up things before we go into AR.
  • The elementary school in fall in is Washington Elementary… School websites have given it an avg of 7 rating (Yantacaw and Radcliffe are 9). Is this school really behind or is this another one of those 'statistics' problem?
  • We are located on River road, facing Rt 21… Is it going to be major problem as far as Traffic is concerned. We are used to live in the city so I dont mind car noise a lot, but too much will be a problem.. My friend, who lives in Nutley, says 21 is not that busy (like Rt 3) and dust/pollution should be the same even 0.5 miles inside.
  • Is there any other thing I should be concerned about living in Kingsland manor neighborhood and River Road?

Thanks in advance!

dont know the school but your location will be traffic ridden and route 21 is a drag strip. Not raffic riddled but truly a drag strip. You will hear racing and motorcycles flying up it all night. Nutley is a nice town though.

Thanks that sounds better, I'd rather take drag strip than heavy traffic throughout.
