Default Commuting from Spotswood, NJ to NYC

I just moved to Spotswood, NJ and I am looking for the best way to commute to NYC. I would ideally like to take the train (and park my car there too). Also if there is any Park & Ride lots where buses come through often, I would check that too. Thanks

Default Spotswood, Late Night Bus Service

If I know I am working late or weekends I drive over to the Old Bridge Park and ride on Rt 9. It is essentialy 24/7 Busses. I will tell you heading over to the lot for the first time was confusing. You have to Park in the Daily Pay ($2) Parking Lot next to the TGI Fridays.

I just moved to Franklin Park, NJ. I love my apartment, but I'm not too happy with the neighborhood. I may move to Spotswood, NJ area in about a year or so. Although, I love the fact that the Suburban bus stops right outside my complex and takes me right to NYC without having to pay for a park and ride. I'm sure they must be a bus that stops in Spotswood, NJ. Contact Suburban transit at Suburban Transit or call them toll free 800-222- 0492,

The NJ Transit 138 goes through Spotswood to NY Port Authority, but its schedule may not be conducive to your working hours since it doesn't run late. We've been in Spotswood for a year, and park at the East Brunswick Transportation Center to take Coach USA into lower Manhattan.
