Early 30s F looking to rent around Rockleigh (Hoboken, Westwood: condo, safe area)

"Hi. I am relocating due to getting a job in Rockleigh NJ. I'm in my early 30s, single, and am looking to rent a condo/apt within a 30-40 minute drive of my job.

I'd like to find a safe area that has some nightlife and a downtown. Don't need a Hoboken type environment, but would like to be somewhere that's not 100% family orientated.

Budget is 1500-2000 for a 1 bedroom place.

Nearest places is possibly Westwood... at least in NJ. It really doesn't have much of a nightlife.

Nyack, NY is probably the best bet with an actual nightlife and being within a comfortable commuting distance, while being a nice area to live in within her budget.

Pearl River is an option too, but it isn't as "fun" as Nyack.
