Cool Brick vs Wood in New Jersey

A realtor that I know said that a house of brick is just about the same than a house of wood because in the inside it will still be a wood house. Anyone who wants to coment, please do.

Both beat a house of straw. But be careful what comes down the chimney!

That is so not true. A house of brick will not deteriate on the outside. It will hold up to storm and weather condtions. It uses less Energy. IMO, it also looks nicer. Brick is much more common in the south than in the North. It's also more expensive so that's why in the north houses have only bricks in the front and not all 4 sides like where I live.
