I was trying to buy a unit in the complex. My mortgage got denied. The broker said that the lenders are backing out as the condo questionnaire indicated some on going air water quality testing. I spoke to a agent who sold couple of properties and he didn't come across this issue. Did anyone else face this issue with their mortgage? Or does anyone have any idea if there are any water quality issues? I am looking at other lenders who can approve my mortgage but I want to make sure that I am buying something that I can sell later when need arises.
Appreciate any info. My closing date is in 2 weeks.
