I am an engineering student and will be working for Urban Science (50 Tice Blvd) for 3 months starting May 21. I need a room/apt nearby. I do not have a car, but hope to walk, take a taxi or get a ride to/from work from co-workers. I would be most grateful if you or anyone you know could help me out. Money is flexible. I am very neat and quiet. I am not concerned about nightlife, just a clean place to live that I can get to easily.

Am I correct to assume you're renting? Whether renting or buying, your budget plays a part too.

Hoboken, Morristown, Ridgewood, Jersey City all seem to have good night life.

Any suggestions for someone working in Upper Saddle River, NJ who has similar requirements? I'm trying to find a place with a decent night life. I'm not a huge fan of clubs, but an area that regularly plays live venues would be awesome.

Would anyone know any sites that could help someone with a search besides craigslist?

I know of a couple of people who have used sublet.com with good results. They have lists of apts, houses, share rentals, and rooms for rent, not just sublets.

Default Morristown

What's Morristown like specifically? What are the people like? What jobs do they have? Is it mostly lifelong Jerseyites?

Funny you mentioned White Plains. That's my other option. I just hate the freaking bridge...
