Jersey support your team. Stop cheering for NY and Philly teams.

I have said it forever: the Devils and the Nets comprise the two worst fan bases in the entire country. We actually lost the Nets because very few people cared enough to come to the games when they were good. The Devils fans are even more complacent, seeing that Lou Lamoriello has been consistently one of the two or three best GMs in professional sports over the past 25 years, an indomintable force. And yet, the team has problems selling out games. An incredible winning culture he has built, and the team is in the lower rung of attendance every year.

I think when the team begins to falter after Lamoriello retires, you will see an eventual move to a Canadien city.

Nah. You're wrong it's obvious the fanbase is growing. The next generation of fans is growing.

RANGERS DO SUCK!! 1 lousy championship in 75 years - almost as bad as the Cubs. Who cares if they have more fans, they should. They've been around since the 1920s with no competition for most of that time.

GO DEVILS!!!!!!!!

The flyers fans didn't even outnumber us like they used to. The move to newark was the best thing they could have done. If the nets were playing in Newark during their finals appearances they would have made money. They couldn't build a fan base in the meadowlands.

Exactly!!! Look at the headstart they had on us. Devils fans were only one generation of fans, now their kids are grown up. It'll take some time but I see it developing.

Nothing funnier than seeing a new jersey native screaming "Jersey sucks" when cheering on the rangers or flyers.

That is not at all why the Nets moved. The previous owners were all set to move to Newark with the Devils when the arena deal stalled for a few years. The owner got nervous & sold to Bruce Ratner. He was looking for an NBA team (Kings, Nets, Hornets) to package into a huge real estate deal. Ratner was looking to move a team, any team he could get to BK.

Oh yea, lets go DEVS!
