Hackensack man repeatedly stabs himself, cuts out intestines, and throws them at cops on the scene
Quote:
Wayne Carter of Hackensack remains in critical condition after stabbing himself numerous times in front of police and throwing his skin and intestines at them.
Police received a report of a man barricaded in a room and threatening to harm himself, according to an Associated Press report in the New York Daily News.
The officers said Carter, 43, was found in a corner and stabbing himself in the abdomen, legs and neck.
Carter was holding a 12-inch kitchen knife, which he refused to drop. After being unable to subdue Carter with pepper spray, police called in the Bergen County SWAT team.
Northjersey.com reported that police saw Carter’s intestines protruding from a wound in his abdomen. He then allegedly threw some of his skin and intestines at the officers.
"The scene was a bloody mess,” a police officer who responded to the scene told the Cliffview Pilot. “The SWAT team members had to be decontaminated due to the amount of blood."
Carter underwent emergency surgery after he punctured his small intestine and sliced a major artery to his stomach.
Carter is charged with aggravated assault of a police officer, resisting arrest, making threats and disorderly conduct. Carter was arrested previously for disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and terroristic threats.
In the past, Carter has spent time in the hospital for psychiatric reasons. It has not been determined whether drugs were involved in the incident.

I'm willing to bet that "bath salts" or "synthetic marijuana" were involved. So sad and scary.

Cannibal "zombie" attacks, Extreme self mutilation, Body parts mailed to places and flesh-eating diseases. Never in history can I recall a chamber of horrors in the news one after the other.
