My wife and I are tired of owning and paying a mortgage. A sale of our staten Island condo would put up to 150k in the bank...next step a great rental community in NJ( not apartment building) I have sent emails to Bartlett landing in tuckerton but would like some opinions and most of all do you pay property taxes when paying rent in these communities???

Thank you for your help.

I'm New to this forum so I'm not sure if I'm doing this correctly But, I myself live in Bartlett landing and you pay water and sewer no property taxes and your basic electric gas and cable phone internet etc. I like the place as far as the place is nice and kept up but, however not a great place if you have children they are not allowed to play in the grass nor are they allowed to ride bicycles or do things that children do.Also, You have to pay a 250 dollar non refundable pet fee if you have a pet and are allowed only one the pool they have here is clean and kept up but, closes to soon and opens late in the season and if they do not have a lifeguard they close and even if its 90 degrees they still close they do not have much back up at the pool for lifeguards I myself will not be renting again here.
