What are good restaurants in Bergen County that are affordable, and has enough variety to keep me going back everytime?

Also, preferably east of New Milford, south of Oradell, and north of Fort Lee

While it is not north of Fort Lee, Robertos II on River Road in Edgewater is very good and of course for really fine dining there's Hirams in Fort Lee

If you like chinese food, and a good value...try International Buffet in Bergenfield. It's all-you-can-eat with mostly chinese food, and a small sushi bar (just a guy behind a counter lol). Lunch is around $6.50 and dinner is $11...maybe a couple dollars more on the weekends.

I noticed they only bring out the seafood at nite. I saw a guy there once only eat giant crab legs until he was stuffed lol.

The restaurant is located on Washington Ave in the strip mall near the Teaneck Armory (across from the BP gas station). I think you get a lot for your money there.

Affordable is a relative term of course, but many of the "hot spots" in Bergen County are far more "show" than "go" so to speak.

I have always enjoyed the Assembly (Englewood) and the River Palm (Edgewater). Cafe Italiano (Englewood Cliffs) is good and I think it's always been underrated. Baci (Westwood) is very good. I had an excellent meal there several months ago and a few weeks ago as well. What about Harvest Moon in Closter? I have always enjoyed it. Good luck.

Palm River Grill and Assembly are not what I would consider affordable

Don't know what you mean by "affordable" but my number 1 is El Cid on Paramus Road
in Paramus (next door to the "old Mill swimming hole) that is under destruction/construction whatever they are doing there....El Cid is fantastic...Best lobster I have ever had....They cook it just right...They have twin whole lobsters on
the menu but you actually get 3 one pounders.....Their steak is wonderful and their
paella is too....and don't forget to order their sangria. It's not a "cheap" place but last
time I was there (Fathers Day 2007) the lobster was $32.00....Here in Floriduh they
charge you almost $20 for a lobster and the Florida lobster is (sorry fellow Floridians)
just awful.. so it's a treat whenever we go back to N.J. to have it at El Cid.....
