Hi all,
I will be moving to an apartment around Summit Ave in Journal Square. I want your opinion about the area in terms of safety, the locals that live there & grocery shopping. I need advice on what areas around Journal Square to particularly stay away from. Vicinities that are safe and not so quite safe. I am working at Wall St and I chose this area because of the commute.

Any response is greatly appreciated.

learn some basic spanish and take cabs, you should've have scouted the area before committing, the area is not exactly safe or nice, but it could be on the threshold of turning around.

I have already scouted the area. To me its okay for the meantime. What I'm asking are opinions from people that already live there or are from there. That's all.
