Default Any Thoughts on Atlantic Highlands?

I may be moving to the Atlantic Highlands area within the next few weeks and was wondering if anyone could offer some info on the area. Things to do, what the town is like, safety, etc. Anything would help! Thanks!!

Hello,

I have been living in Atlantic Highlands for nine years so I can give you most info. you need. Great area, lots to do and close to everything. If you want to go to NY there is a ferry, bus and train close by. There are quite a few good restaurants in the area, small movie theater, the mall is a bit of a drive mostly because of traffic. There are several beaches & parks nearby. If you want more info. let me know. Good luck.

Hi,

Sorry I forgot to answer about safety. I didn't look up the stats but I'm sure you can on this site but I feel it's a very safe area. It's the kind of area if you leave your doors unlocked it's no big deal. I did notice in the last year a lot of people going through red lights around here, not sure why but it wasn't like that before.

I just read somewhere on the internet that Monmouth County was one of the safest in the country.
