Almost as funny as when you have a question and the ffl picks up the thick orange book and suggests you buy it. Having the laws in your hand are a meaningless act. You could wave hardcopy of federal or state law, which are said to agree, all you want. All you will get is a blank stare as the ffl waits for you to run out of steam and then he repeats what you didn't want to hear the first three times he told you.

Reason: additional info
As a 65 year resident of NJ I never felt the need to own a gun although I did have a BB gun for scaring away the deer but that never worked.
Never had any friends with "legal guns". but a few nut case friends always managed to have some.
A phone call to the local police always resulted in a quick response if assistance were needed.
Just never felt the need to own or carry.
Now that I live in NC it is a whole different story. Everybody owns guns and anybody who want to carry probably does. So what does this do to the mentality of the general population knowing that almost everybody else is armed?
People like myself who never needed a gun now all of a sudden knowing that the guy walking down the road could be carrying and at any time could turn his weapon on me are now buying guns for "protection"
It's a different mindset people in NJ are more concerned about making big money, living in nice areas, following their Giant or Jets and letting the police take care of business.
In NC it's taking any job you can get, living in a nice house, raise a few dogs, following every HS football, basketball team, hunting and of course getting a CCW permit so they can take care of business.
NJ gun laws have worked pretty good for the majority of residents if you don't like the laws don't move to NJ.
That pretty much zips it up. The lazy criminals in NJ don't even have to watch their back when holding up a convenience store because no one else is armed.
