Default Need to find a new town to live in..

WE currently live in Butler but are thinking of moving soon. We are looking into PA since the prices are great and taxes are low. We can get a relatively new house with 4 bedrooms for under 400,000.

As much as I would like to move to PA, I feel like it would be so much easier to stay in NJ.

Can someone help me find a town that I can find a decent 4 bedroom house with taxes around 7,000 in a good school district..does this even exist in NJ??

Thanks!

OP lives in Butler.

If commute isn't an issue - you can look in Long Valley/Califon/Lebanon area - you may be able to get something in that price range. good luck!

Look at White Twp in Warren County. Reasonable home prices and right now taxes are not to bad. But no Police, no sewers, no nothing.

I love Mount Laurel Twp taxes are OK depending the price of your home. I have a five bedroom 2 car garage, inground pool, basement, the works and only pay six thousand..close commute to Phila,AC, and the schools are outstanding. I once lived in PA however schools are going down the tubes in some areas. The way I figure it if you don't pay high taxes you can have trash neighbors. Trash cannot pay taxes and the morg....
