Cliffs: NJ used to be good because of strong industry and low taxes. Since the early 1960's things have gone downhill and the Union and Democrats have taxed the death the good people living in NJ.

I often wonder if Codey and all of his political cronies realize they've done a good job of creating a state that people want to escape from? It amazes me how many NJ born and raised can't wait to get the heck out of here.

It surprises me at times that a good number of people actually think their high taxes are going to their schools.
I guess they don't read the newspapers or they would know that urban residents only pay 5 - 10% of the costs of running their cities. The rest comes from the tax money fairy.

Maybe our leaders think that good pizza, pork rolls and cannolis are enough to make it worth staying for.
