Im staying in a temporary apartment in Wayne and need advice about the commute to Manhattan (close to Times Square). I've read about the Route 23 Park and Ride, but at 7 dollars a one way ticket, it seems pretty costly (I know that monthly passes are also available, but I might not be here a month). Can anyone give me an idea about the costs involved in driving and parking?

Do you mean driving into the city and parking there? The toll alone is $6 and parking is very expensive. If you move closer to the city, your bus fare will be a little less. You could rent in Rutherford and take a bus from there which is a pretty easy commute.
