have been filing weekly on sundays. spoke w/a live person @ unempliyment who said if i did not work at all in the week prior weekly claim is ok online.
today i tried & got-Your claim cannot be processed online. Please file your claim by telephone.
Refer to the paperwork sent to you when you filed you claim.

why & what do i need to do???
any insight will be helpful.....

Just call, keep calling until you get through, go through all the prompts and sit on hold until you get someone. Takes forever, but eventually you'll get through.

Best to go down to the nearest office, you can spend eternity waiting on the phone. Their offices are not that busy these days. My brother claimed last year during the summer, went to his local office (somerville) and was in and out in 15 minutes.

I've had that happen before. When I called to file over the phone using the automated system it went right through. Fred44 above is right, if you still have a problem just go to the office. Go after their orientation meetings are over. I've had to go to the Perth Amboy office twice in the past few months. I went in the late morning and early afternoon and there was literally no one in front of me both times.
