No sampy 123, I had never heard of Sonic either...they bombarded us with commercials
on T.V. about Sonic and finally opened one here in South Florida in Boynton Beach, We
went by and checked it out, but it was too crowded and no parking spaces so we haven't actually tried it yet. We lived in N.J. and Pa before Fl. and had never heard of
it...Is it a Southern chain? Hope to try it in the near future......
Reminds me of the time they FINALLY opened a TacoBell up in the Cherry Hill area....I had been 4 years without a taco and drove 55 miles from the shore to get one......[b.t.w. back in Las Vegas now and wouldn't eat tacobell on a BET lol]
There's a Sonic FEVER in the places they exist. I went to Tennessee last month and there were 5 women working in the office. All five went to Sonic twice a day to fill up their enormous drink cups with pineapple cherry limeade or whatever else. Two of them took me with them once. The drink was good, but my god these people went NUTS for it!!! LOL. Do we need something here to make people in Jersey crazy (crazier) too???
The Sonic that just opened up in Waretown is about 2 minutes south of Forked River on Rte 9. It is the one and only Sonic in NJ and, believe it or not, people are actually parked on the shoulder of Rte 9 to get into the place.
My son went to the new Sonic. He has been a lot of times before when he did a Student internship at Disney. Orlando does have them.
Here, in TN I have at least 3 real close to my home. I go for the Diet Cherry Limeaide. It is the Best! Every time my son comes here he wants to go to Sonic and Waffle House.
I was talking to my son tonight, and he had a talk with the manager of Sonic and they are supposed to be opening a lot more in NJ. I think he said close to 200 in the tri-State Area.
