I am going to Philadelphia for work in early February and want to spend a few days in Atlantic city. How is the weather in early February? Is there alot of snow? Will I be able to comfortably walk the boardwalk ? Thanks in advance!

Kristin

I jog the boardwalk in February. Typically in the afternoon temps will be in the upper 40's. 60 is not unheard of but neither is 15. Usually, though, perfectly walkable with a medium jacket. The nice thing about winter in AC is less undesirable vagrants on the loose.

The boardwalk is crappy anyway, stay inside the hotels it's much nicer and safer....plus think of all the money you'll be winning inside. No slots or tables on the boardwalk

Agree that the AC Boardwalk is crappy. OK to get a breath of fresh air but not more than that. I won't go out after dark, not safe IMO. It will likely be quite cold in February, and there will likely be an icy wind off the ocean while you are on the Boardwalk.

Unless you plan on gambling, there's no reason to spend more than an afternoon in AC.

I've been on the boardwalk in January and it's absolutely brutal. I'm sure Feb. would be about the same.

The temperatures are low but it is the wind that gets you. On calm days you can walk the boardwalk without any problems. It is usually fairly deserted except on weekends and despite all of the negativity, I think looking out at the ocean and Casino hoping is great fun.

One thing to remember is AC is pretty sleepy during the week in Feb and really not as busy on the weekends either when compared to warmer months.
