Our home is a nice 1949 Cape Cod with a Florida room. It has louvered shutters in front of screens. My wife and I are toying with sprucing it up and redoing the room so that it can be used as a three-season room, but with original glass shutters like that, I'm wondering where to even start.
Has anyone done anything like this without completely replacing the windows? Any advice/tips on what could be done to spruce the room up in terms of decor, paint, economical heating, furniture, etc.?
