I understand that they only had some minor water incursion into the casinos themselves, nothing that a Wet Vac and carpet shampooer couldn't quickly fix.

From Gov. Christie's latest briefing:

NJ's shore has been cut in half due to Sandy. The destruction along the beaches is unbelievable.

Atlantic City was opened up this morning and Atlantic City's casinos have reopened. Atlantic County's travel ban has been lifted as well in some other counties.

Gasoline: South of I-95, 90% of the gas stations are open. North of I-95 it is more problematic to get gas. FEMA sending generators to get gas stations working.

More from Gov. Christie's latest briefing:

Working with FEMA to get schools back open. Some schools won't be open on Monday.

1.4 million NJ electric customers are still without power.

Atlantic City electric hopes to have all their customers with power by tomorrow night.

Only 5 state roads are still closed.

Even more from Gov. Christie's latest briefing:

8000 workers from 12 state here to help restore power.

80% of NJ Transit bus routes are working. Hoping for 100% NJ Transit buses should be running by Monday.

There are still areas under water advisories. 10 drinking water systems under boil advisories.

FEMA centers open today in Cape May and Brick Township.

The situation in Mantoloking is unbelievable.
