The mayor of West Orange jumped on the idea of a curfew (like residents are children) and restrictions on gas station
Ion hours and generally making people unable to help themselves. What did he get for it? Not faster power restoration, that's certain. Well, Mr Mayor, I have some more to say and if you'd like to hear it personally I'll be in your jail, because I'm coming home tomorrow after curfew and I won't be in a mood to beg and plead and otherwise kiss cop butt to get to my house.

Have been back a few days. I didn't have a problem with it. There are still trees and wires down and I believe it was so that people didn't happen on these hazards on streets that are still dark. Too many occurences to have a squad car blocking the street.

i agree. i was disappointed about the gas station enforcement of curfew, but given the location of the stations that had power, it made sense. there was no good way to line up cars at sunoco on prospect ave in the dark over there.

and the notification flat out stated that they understand people will be coming and going from work, and the curfew was not intended to prohibit that.

cut the guy some slack.
