So there are places downtown newark such as branford place. African buffet near halsey .and William street Zodo African restaurant which used to be called mimis.
There are African hair braiding every where in Newark nj..just google it..south orange Ave has african restaurants..try the one which is a club to on essex street east orange. Nice music. Just google you will see.
Union County has a lot of Africans and Caribbean people. Elizabeth has a ton of Haitians. I went to school with a lot of Nigerians and Ghanaians. I've also worked with Nigerians. One lives near Piscataway and the other one lives in Newark. East Orange also has Haitians and I think Africans but East Orange is a dump.. Probably won't be finding a lot of professionals there.
I'm sure there's places to meet Africans on meetup.com or African churches? I did a job at a Haitian church a few years ago. I've seen Jamaicans playing soccer at the park in Elizabeth.
