Agree!!! And we would have enough in the bank to hop a plane and evacuate

So the big question is does Obama still get to blame the previous administration or has that clock run out?

I gave Obama a pass for the first 2 years. It's been on him since. BUT the majority of the people have voted him in twice so he is the president. The thing I dislike is some people have wanted him to fail for years just to get him out. That is a shame hoping that the unemployment rate goes up, the downgrading of our credit ratings and so forth. I'm not an Obama fan but I sure as hell wasn't rooting for OUR country to fail in an attempt to make Obama look bad just to replace him.

Well, you people who like SOCIALISM and government handouts got your way and got your man back into the White House for 4 more years. In which time we'll probably have another 5 or 6 Trillion in debt rolled up, to be paid for by our children and grandchildren. Hope you are happy. I wasn't crazy about Romney but he would have been a much better choice. The Rebublican party better start looking for a 2016 candidate right now. Chris Christie, are you listening?

By the way, the clock has now run out on blaming W for this economy.

Back in 2009, when asked about his party's agenda, "Miss" McConnell, the Republican leader of the Senate stated that, "our job is to make sure that Barack Obama is a one-term president". As a result, there were more GOP filibusters over the past 4 years than there had been in total over the preceding 200 years. How does anything of substance get accomplished when this filibustering blocks so many bills?

If someone is elected to represent his constituents, and to try to resolve the country's problems, there has to be an agenda other than spending 4 years trying to make sure that someone of the other party is defeated.

Let's hope that both sides come to the realization that Congress is not supposed to be just an ongoing political pi**ing contest. It is supposed to be about solving problems, and this almost always involves compromise.

I have zero faith this will happen. Things are getting worse, not better. I honestly feel the political system is so broken it is basically impossible to fix at this point.

You are not telling the whole story. While McConnell's comment was dumb, Obama believes in zero comprimise. It is his way or no way, so the house says fine, we'll sit and do nothing and try again in 2 years to get the Senate. Romney was a moderate and would most definitely comprimise. He wasn't the perfect candidate by any stretch but he was a much better option to get the Feds to work together and to help our economy than a guy who believes in partisianship and who never even ran a lemonade stand in his life, let alone a country.
