Hi,

We are looking for restaurant near Parlin/Sayreville to celebrate christening (12 people).

So far looked at Ponte Veccio Ponte Vecchio Italian Seafood Grille - Old Bridge, NJ - (732) 607-1650

Please let us know about any reasonably priced places with good food and decor.

Thanks,
Mark

How much are you willing to spend?

Plenty of good restaurants here in Bergen County...

Can't go wrong with Ponte Vecchio. It's on the higher end of Italian restaurants and I'm sure your guests will be pleased with the place. The only big drawback is that the parking lot gets packed early. But if the christening is on a Sunday early afternoon shouldn't be a problem.

I love it how a poster asks for something in Middlesex and people say, Hey...I know a good place in the other side of the world.

Thanks for suggestion, hoped there would be other options besides Ponte Vecchio.

Seriously, there aren't to many better restaurants, but you can also try Benzi in The Shoppes of Old Bridge on Route 9 and Texas Road.

There's a place called Nonna's Italian Feast on Rt. 9 in Marlboro where we celebrated a few birthdays. We liked it.

We had our son's christening at the Bensi in the Shoppes at North Brunswick and they did a pretty good job. Somewhat slow service, but we had about 35 people so it's probably more than they are used to. Great food though.
