What towns near to medford or mount laurel allow the building ADU's or granny flats on your property? (Marlton: home)

We are looking to move, and rather than buy a home that already "comes with" such a dwelling, we would like to find a place that would allow us to have one built at a later date. I know lots of places have major restrictions on building ADU's or granny flats/cottages if they are not "attached" to your house. Is anyone familiar with the rules on such in Medford\Mt laurel\Marlton or surrounding towns? I dont even know where to begin....thanks in advance for any thoughts here

I don't know, but will suggest also posting this on the NJ suburbs of Philadelphia subforum, as this main page is mostly made up of north jersey residents and the area you are talking about is south Jersey.
