Sorry if you don't show up for work you certainly can't expect to be rewarded for that.

It is best to check with the Unemployment Office and read their qualifications to receive benefits, that is the only way to know the truth regarding your question.

Apply for unemployment and see what happens. No way to know if the company will fight it or not.

What the above said...I believe the only time you can be completely denied is for gross misconduct of which attendance does not fall under. You may be penalized 6 weeks benefits which would reduce your weekly aqmount.

You'll get it, you just might have to wait out the "penalty" period if you get fired. I believe it's 6 weeks but not positive. My brother got fired (not attendance, but still fired), had the arbitration interview with unemployment and his employer....the person from unemployment agreed with employer so my brother lost...6 weeks later he got his first check.

I'd say its worth trying for. Attendance isn't always cut and dry.

You usually don't get unemployment for being fired. You get unemployment for being laid off. Who cares if you think you have good reasons. You don't show up without calling, you deserve to be fired. Wouldn't hurt to apply though.
