Hello,

My employer is moving my job from Philadelphia suburb to Jersey City and will ask me to relocate. As part of the relocation I think they are going to offer a salary adjustment of about 10-12%.

I wanted to reach out to people who have made similar moves and find out if this is reasonable or what would be more reflective of cost of living differences?

A quick search finds this website, Moderator cut: link removed, competitor site
Which indicates the cost of living in the Jersey City area is 29% higher than Philly (and ouch housing is 128% more)

which Philly suburb? Some are pricey so the adjustment could be very reasonable.

Unless you're living on one of the pricier parts of the Main Line or Camden County... not enough.
