Yes, he's pretty brave, and it looked great. I guess they had to arrest him because of the danger factor, though, but I'm sure he knew that when he did it.
I knew it would only be a matter of time before someone tried a stunt like this. Does the flag look cool? Sure. Was it stupid to swim out to and climb a rotting piece of metal in the ocean in January? Yes. They need to get it out before someone gets seriously hurt or worse.
I was under the impression that the boardwalk is guarded 24/7 in that area - how the heck did he manage to get around that? I have heard stories of people going down there, now that's Seaside Hts is open to the public, and they can't anywhere near the piers (except through Lucky Leo's windows) to see it and this person actually climbs the coaster and attaches a flag pole and flag with no one stopping him?
