Typical NJ. When we had the market on lock we should have kept reinvesting and improving in A.C. Instead we just stood there and did nothing. Now we're trying to catch up but it's too late.

I agree with this...NJ has no one to blame, but itself.
they should have given more thought towards the future and made more efforts from removing the local garbage from the vicinity of the hotels. i dont think its too late, but it probably wont happen.
even if they just got rid of all the crap on the boardwalk and found a way to keep the locals off of it, they would be better off.
Superstorm Sandy also pushed Revel to the brink. I cancelled a 3 day trip there after the storm. Thousands of people are repairing their homes and are not really interested in going to AC. As for going to the beach there, i'll pass. The degenerate lowlifes are still swarming in AC. They've been there for 50 years and don't plan on leaving any time soon.
The building is spectacular, but it is not walkable from the other seaside casinos. If it was closer it would make it the obvious choice next to the 1970s-80s versions right next door. It would be like the Borgata, only closer.

Once again... location, location, location.
the best thing about the boragata is that is isnt close to the other hotels.
