I agree. The first Casino in Philadelphia had it casino license awarded in December 2006 (but the casino didn't open until 2010) and construction for Revel started October 2007. Anyone with half a brain could predict that gambling in Philadelphia would have a big impact on Atlantic City Casinos bottom line, but they went ahead and built Revel anyway. I used to work in the Casino industry, and I'm surprised it took so long for other states to approve casino gambling and put Atlantic City out of business. There's money to be made on gambling in Atlantic City, but I think there's only enough business to keep 4 or 5 healthy casino's open, not 12 barely scrapping by.

Filth have rights, I'm not sure what you expect them to do? Arrest them and toss them in jail for looking like bums?

You have a good point there, all the property around Borgata is private property. Bums can be told to leave or face arrest for trespassing. Most other casinos do not have that luxury, the streets and boardwalk around there building is public property.

I would have to agree. I was there with a friend and got lost looking for the parking garage when leaving, walked around the whole casino floor twice before we found the turn we missed.

I agree, there nothing they can do to bring back the old days. Atlantic City was built on ten's of thousands of bus loads of eager gamblers. Now that they can gamble locally, why take a hour or two trip for the same thing? Casino's in Atlantic City will continue to fold until there are 4 or 5 left then they will strike a balance to meet demand.
