need recommendation for a store to buy mattress
need a place/store around hudson county, bergen county area that have decent prices, good customer service and delivers for cheap for some furniture that i'm planning to buy. most important is a good mattress, not ikea. I had an ikea mattress for couple of years now, it's time to upgrade to one that doesn't give me back pains once in awhile.

The best recommendation I can give you, minus delivery is Costco!! They're quality is unmatched on anything you get from there. They are so affordable. Some may tell you they got things elsewhere for less, but I can guarantee you it isn't the same quality.
We bought all of our mattresses from there, for us and the 3 kids. We paid a very reasonable price for Sealys and they come with a 10 year warrantee from Sealy. The other great thing is that if you buy something there, you have a full year to return it directly to the store, no questions asked. The only exception, I believe is a computer, which is six months.
I have had no back pain in 6 months! Good luck!

Stay away from Sleepy's. They have this BS 20 year warranty that's impossible to collect on. We just put in a claim for a mattress that's 2 1/2 years old. It's a Stern and Foster (not cheap) and has sagged 2 inches. Even the tech guy who came to the house said he never saw one so bad.
At the end they claimed "unsanitary conditions" and voided the warranty.
WTF...it's a mattress, even with a mattress cover (which you had to buy to validate the warranty) you're going to find "things" on the mattress. They said that it had a stain on it. My wife is going through menopause and sweats heavily when sleeping and that caused our stain.
I did a google search and this appears to be a common ploy with Sleepy's.
I will NEVER buy from Sleepy's again.

It's funny, because we had bought mattresses from Sleepys around 5 years ago, and heard about the warranty being voided if the mattress was stained. When we bought new mattresses in Atlanta a few months ago, the salesman was talking about the warranty, and I asked about whether we had to put the covers on them to avoid staining and voiding the warranty. He looked at me like I had my head screwed on backwards...lol. I had assumed it was an industry standard or something- not some BS that Sleepys had come up with.

We got ours from Sears. It was on sale and the Sears in my area has 3% sales tax b/c of the town it is in. The delivery guys were super quick and would have taken the old one if we weren't putting it in a spare room.
