Default Berkeley Heights vs. New Providence???

We are finally seriously considering relocating to the Berkeley Heights/ New Providence area. We have heard lots of things about these two towns and would LOVE to hear some inside info on which is better/worse and the reasons. The only negative thing I see is that in New Providence taxes are higher. Does this make their schools better??? Please help!!!!

Not much difference. If you want to stay away from Union County taxes, check out Warren (Somerset County) or Long Hill (Morris County). You will also get a larger lot.

I know both towns extremely well. Both are excellent communities; you can't go wrong with either. Feel free to message me if you want details.

Berkeley Heights & New Providence are wonderful family towns. The schools are highly rated. You can google New Jersey Schools to get info & ratings for each. I currently live in NP and think either town would be a good choice. I am also a local real estate professional and would be happy to send you properties that match your search criteria. You can e-mail at egendel@comcast.net and check out my website at topnjhomes.com

You can't go wrong with either BH or NP. Both are expensive but you get more of a yard and lot space than you do in montclair of the oranges. It is an outer suburb of newark/new york so the commute time is about 15 more minutes on the train or on i78. Good Luck!

You'll be fine in either one. New Providence has the busier town center which is nice to have close by.

I'll bet your decision will be made based on the house, not the town, since you're choosing between two very similar communities.
