Can anyone tell me about this neighborhood in Union Twsp NJ (Livingston: home, elementary schools)

Can anyone tell me more about the general area of Pershing Road & Burnet Ave. in Union Township NJ?

We're relocating from MI and after just losing out on a home in Kenilworth NJ we've found another we like in Union Twsp but really know nothing of the area.

Burnett Avenue is a busy street so I would avoid it. I would try to look for a home nearer to Five Points in Union or the Washington or Livingston elementary schools.
