First of all you can't prove who I am, second, I'm not the one causing an accident, the idiot following to close is. They're the one who will get the ticket. I'm not slamming on my brakes and coming to a dead stop, I'm giving them a gentle warning to back off. They are failing to keep a safe distance. I am doing nothing wrong under the law. Thanks for the (worthless) advice.

If they go into the median and there is not a guardrail, then they will hit someone head-on going the opposite direction.

People have basically brought up several scenarios where things could potentially go very wrong and you could end up hurting or killing some innocent person, yet you either minimize it or shift blame to someone else.

Are you basically admitting to people here who have friends, relatives and loved ones who drive the same roads as you do every morning that it is worth it to roll the dice with their lives for your potential payout?

Do you clog up the fast lane doing the speed limit & think it's your "right" to be there? I bet you're originally from Brooklyn, correct?

Wrong and wrong.

If you go back and read what I said...

I'm in the left lane doing 5-10 over the speed limit, passing traffic in the middle and right lanes. Some jerk comes up behind me and rides up my @ss because they can't wait for me to pass the car(s) I'm passing and move over--even if I put my directional on to indicate that as soon as I can I'll get over. Better yet, sometimes there are several cars in front of me, so even when I can move over, the jerk is still going to have others defeating his effort of exceeding the sound barrier.

Better hope they don't break your brake light, because then it'll be you who gets hit in the wallet.
