Quite early in the "looking" stage but I am interested in the Monroe Manor Condos in Monroe NJ. Anyone have any experience with Hallmark homes, the builder? I already know the area so that is not a problem. I just want to know if anyone has had any good/bad things to say about the builder..

p.s. are there any train stations near Monroe that service NY penn station
Thanks

We had book a single family in Monroe manor but had to cancell it due to some reason.
Now they r refusing to return our deposit money and so we r forced to slap a law suit .The house agreement also had some faults which they bluntly refused to change. They r not very reputable in the first place but we thought of taking our chances and r now repenting !!!
I have also heard that the sub contractors are BIG TIME cheats and give ppl a very hard time.
Pl be extremly careful before paying they anything in case u decide to go in for a property with them .

I live in Monroe Manor and my friend had to back out since they were being relocated. The sales office couldn't have been nicer and they received their deposit back when the unit was resold. You are not telling the complete story here.

I live in Monroe Manor for two years. Come look for yourself and see if you should live here. From beginning to end it was a great experience. The sales office was helpful and my family is enjoying our home. There are things I wish I had done before, but I was told about every option available to me. Unlike most new home construction my home was only delayed about two weeks or so. There are lots of children and with the clubhouse opening a few weeks ago we had a great end of summer.

The office must have been nice to your friend but you have absolutely no idea what we had to go through. The stress and hassles we had to undergo was really terrible .
So you are in NO position to say that I am not telling the complete story.
It does not matter what you feel or think as different people have different experience and not all are pleasant.

Question Gift card for making a refferal

Has anyone of you or your friends actually received a gift card( worth $1000) from Hallmark Homes for referring a friend .
Hallmark Homes says that after the person whom you have referred closes, a Gift card is sent within a few weeks .
We referred our friend who closed and moved in almost 4 months ago , but still no Gift card for us .

Smile Monroe Manor

Just moved into our new home at Monroe Manor. I read a few of the comments on this blog. First the girls in the sales office were wonderful. They helped us every step of the way.

I closed a few weeks ago and my friend received his gift card. My friend was told it would take two weeks to a month and it took a little over two weeks.

This is our second new home built and by far this experience is better than our last one. We love our new home and anyone out there looking for a new home should go to Monroe Manor. Tell Sue and Lynn that Paul sent you.

I just had a new home built in Morris County, one of the 3 estimates was from Hallmark -- their bid was so low that I had to question their quality...
