My fiance and I have our eye on Southridge Apartments in monmouth Junction area of South Brunswick. He works in Hamilton, and I in Edison. We are looking to move this summer, he soon, myself joining him post-wedding. We are looking for a one bedroom, bout 1000 month or a bit above, washer/dryer in unit, and a nice gym pool bonus. We would be in the apartmentfor 1-3 years, just until our debt is payed, and we plan on looking for a condo/townhome/house, maybe in the same area or closer to Hamilton.

We looked at Plainsboro area apartments but the 1 bed apts. were small, and they have electric heat etc which I fear would mean high bills. Plainsboro was cute for the area having nice walking areas and such.

We visited SouthRidge and liked it, but are wondering about the area? any recommendations? Or how about Cranbury or East windsor?

Thank you

Also, how does renting a condo through a realtor work? what about the association fees?

Thank you again
