Yeah. It's actually a waste, even with 3 kids. I have a few rooms that never even get used. I often think about moving, but I am too lazy to do anything about it.

My wife keeps bugging me to finish the basement for the kids to play in, so I just keep telling her to let them play in the two unused rooms.

No, that's an amazing deal. We pay $105 for our 2600 sq ft (no basement) home. AND, she doesn't do my kids' rooms (they don't deserve to have their rooms cleaned) NOR my LR or DR. I got another estimate to do all rooms minus kids, and it was $100. I'm too lazy to do anything about it.

While you are here...take time to enjoy yourself. For as much as people complain about NJ..there are good points. I hope all works out for you and your family. Everyone that responded to you gave good sound advice and tips. Hopefully, we will have a warm hot summer!! Good Luck! =0)
