my wife has this weird fear of lizards. its extra strange since she grew up in puerto rico and didnt leave until she was 25. we visited a friend in puerto rico and my wife becomes aware that there is a lizard in the bedroom. well, we had just got back from a late night so its like 2am and i want to go to bed. so i killed the lizard.

why is it right to kill spiders? because they dont pay rent, kill them and flush them. its not really a decision worth thinking about.

Well done PETA, you've once again proven to be obscenely idiotic. You'd think with it being so public of what repulsive hypocrites they are (a sick majority of the healthy, adoptable animals they take into their "shelter" are killed, very few are even made available for adoption) they would keep their mouths shut on things just a little bit more?

Even when I was a vegetarian (it happens...) I couldn't support PETA.

Also, spider = smash. Just how it goes in this house.

I was going to say the exact same thing! Now Christie will never get to the presidency - too much bad luck since you know it wasn't the first time, LOL!

I have a device called a Bug Buster - has a tiny vacuum that you suck up insects/spiders and then release them outside. It's awesome and so much better than the Solo cup and Bed Bath and Beyond coupon to cover the top!

PETA are just an overblown organization that borders on radical....that said I will remove said spider offender and put outside as they are important to ecology, they also eat skeeters and other bugs....now if hubbie runs into said offender spider before I do he doesn't stand a chance

I'm guilty, I kill spiders and mice, and any other critter that invades my house without paying rent. The dog gets amnesty.

Let's not forget that mice and rats can spread disease, so getting rid of them is a positive step for your family's health.

Perhaps the most deadly disease spread by rodents is the Hantavirus.
This was once thought to be confined to the US Southwest--until a young man on Long Island died from this illness as a result of exposure to mouse droppings in his family's garage.
