I grew up in Camden County, have lived and currently work in Burlington County and currently reside in Gloucester County. For all intents and purposes that is basically "South Jersey" or at least ~75% of the population. You see pretty much the same mix though in Salem, Cumberland, Atlantic and Cape May. Though there does seem to be a bit stronger of a Devils hockey base in Atlantic and Cape May.
PS There are also a decent number of Steelers fans in the Philly area. They are either transplants from western PA or just happen to like the Steelers for whatever reason.
I think with maybe an exception for the Yankees, you'll find the Steelers have the most "nationwide" fan base.
A lot of people have adopted the Ravens as a second team as Joe Flacco is from Audubon in South Jersey.
Apparently there are two other South Jersey guys on the Ravens as well. And the mayor of Marlton is a kicking coach for them as well.
I think in general, people from South Jersey/Philly tend to respect the Ravens because Baltimore has a similar culture of hard work and immense pride for their home and their home team. White collar talent with blue collar work ethic.

I think out of all the northeast corridor sports cities, most Philly fans hate Baltimore sports teams that least of the bunch.

I remember back in the day when the Orioles were one of our biggest rivals (Yankees) - I have a Baltimore Blows tee shirt in the attic somewhere - LOL! But even after that time Cal Ripken Jr is the only non-Yankee bobble head allowed on the bobble shelf - I loved that man! I guess that actually proves your point somewhat - I'd NEVER have a Red Sox player on there - I actually don't allow anything colored red in my house.
I am rooting for the Ravens in the Superbowl since they knocked out the Pats - my most hated team in the universe (although the Red Sox are pretty close second - really depends on the season I suppose).
