Hi,

Just a quick question on renovation permit. Is permit required (in general and in Westfield particular) for bathroom renovation (replace the tiles, put in new vanity etc, no structural change)? How about French Drain in the basement? Would it take long to get one?

Thanks!!!

The only definitive answer is going to come from the building department in your town. Everything else is just speculation. Is the french drain going to be inside the perimeter (ie: all of the work will be done inside the basement?) If so I wouldn't bother with the permit but that's just me.
