They are charging him with attempted murder, among other things.
Don't hold your breath doc. He'll be a hero in jail. The sad thing is this dirtbag has 12 felony convictions ALREADY and is only 42 yoa and he was out waiting for his next victim. I'm all for giving someone a second chance but this scumbag should have been in jail for life after his 3rd or 4th felony CONVICTION. I don't want to hear from the softees oh he grew up in a bad environment and blah, blah, blah. He's a no good thug that should of got killed by the victims husband coming in from another room and killing him. He'll be out in about 7 years doing it to some other poor soul.

Yeah, I'm not so sure jail is the celebrity vacation you think it is for criminals, especially petty jerks like him. That's why they kind of hide from police, and try not to get caught.
He'll get what he deserves though. Not all people in jail are violent offenders who beat on defenseless women. Many have wives & daughters, and are just as angry as the rest of us when they hear evil crap like this. The likelihood that people in his own community called in a tip is also very great. Yeah, people in "the hood" hate violence, too.

I always find it weird when people talk about how criminals in jail have some kind of moral code and will probably punish an inmate that has done something that even inmates find offensive. I don't know if that's true or not; but I have my doubts.

Would there have been a reward if she was black? Will people be happy when Zimmerman is convicted?
I hardly even see any outrage posted on here when the victim is black or another minority.
I can bring up double standards all night. We can make this racial, poor vs. rich, affairs, drug deals gone wrong, or any other baseless speculation people have presented here with NO proof. All of that is pointless, and does NOT apply here. The bottom line is the woman thankfully survived, the culprit is caught, and now the victim can start healing.
Yeah seriously 22k reward I wouldn't be surprised if his homies turned him in.
If I placed a bet I'd put it all in on this. And if no one collects the reward money that called it in I'll eat crow and admit I was wrong.
